The Infection Control Unit, Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), European Union (EU), Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) and the Malaysian Society of Infection Control and Infectious Diseases (MyICID), organised the World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week (WAAW) 2025 celebration, which included a webinar titled “Smart Prescribing, Safer Patients: AMS in Primary Care” on 22 November 2025.
