MMA CPD FOR DOCTORS
More About CPD Points
MMA CPD Points Accreditation
From 2020 onwards, doctors are required to obtain a minimum of 20 CPD points for APC renewal. The CPD cycle runs from 1 July to 30 June of the following year. Doctors may download their MMA CPD Certificate through the MMA CPD Mobile Application.
How Are MMA CPD Points Recorded?
Attendance may be recorded through either:
- QR Code Scan: The organiser scans the doctor’s QR code during the event. Points are reflected automatically.
- Manual Attendance Submission: The organiser submits attendance through their MMA CPD Provider account within 14 days after the event.
CPD Points Not Reflected?
Kindly ensure:
- Your IC/Passport number is correct in the MMA CPD Mobile Application.
- The organiser has recorded your attendance.
- The event was registered and approved under the MMA CPD system.
If your points are still missing, please contact the organiser directly. In case there is no response, you may forward your correspondence to the MMA CPD Secretariat for further review.
Please note: The MMA CPD Secretariat cannot manually update attendance records or CPD points. Attendance must be submitted by the event organiser through their registered MMA CPD Provider account, after which the CPD points will be automatically reflected in the doctor’s MMA CPD Mobile Application.
Eligible Events:
Only events organised by registered MMA CPD Providers and approved under the MMA CPD system are eligible for MMA CPD points.
Approved events can be viewed in the MMA CPD Mobile Application.
Events conducted in Malaysia that are not registered and approved under the MMA CPD system are not eligible for MMA CPD points.

- Overseas CPD events and online CPD modules

MMA CPD and MyCPD
MMA CPD and MyCPD are separate systems managed by different organisations.
MMA CPD registered events are linked to MyCPD for government doctors; however, this integration is one-way and not vice versa. CPD points recorded manually in MyCPD cannot be transferred or reflected in the MMA system.
Government doctors should refer to the relevant system for their CPD records.
