Frontliners doing superb job

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysians, medical associations and non-governmental associations agree
frontliners are doing an excellent job.
They also commend Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah (pic) for taking the
lead in braving the crisis.
The most daring move Dr Noor Hisham initiated was to advise the government for a movement
control order (MCO), an order that has never been imposed before, said the Malaysian Medical
Association (MMA) president Dr N. Ganabaskaran.

You can count on us, private hospitals tell govt

situation while also urging the government to stop the export of personal protective equipment
(PPE) and face masks.
Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM) president Datuk Dr Kuljit Singh (pic) said its
member hospitals are ready to coordinate the management of Covid-19 patients so as to not

Other ministries must help Health Ministry combat spread of Covid-19, says MMA

PETALING JAYA: The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) needs to ensure
there is enough personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers following the rise in
Covid-19 cases in the country, says the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
Association president Dr N Ganabaskaran (pic) said that while the Health Ministry and its personnel
have been working around the clock since the spread of Covid-19 in the country, other ministries
have yet to play their part in helping to combat the spread of the virus.
